Recycle used contact lenses & containers

If you’ve always wanted to recycle used soft contact lenses and the “blister packs” that they come in, now you can!  Bausch+Lomb is running a program that can recycle the opened plastic blister packs, the foil tops and even used soft contacts. They’ll take any brand of product but it must be opened and excess fluid discarded. You can sign up for free to do it from home at http://www.bausch.com/our-company/one-by-one-recycling or bring the products in a box to Yin Eyecare and we’ll send them in.

The outside cardboard packaging can be taken by your curbside recycling service so don’t send/bring those in. At Yin Eyecare we’re careful not to use more than we need and reuse or recycle all that we can. Be good to the earth!
